Why should I have this treatment?
Our ‘Intraceuticals Oxygen Facial’ is designed to give you that post-holiday glow. After a thorough cleanse and exfoliation, we infuse a tailored hyaluronic serum (packed full of botanical brighteners and antioxidants) into the skin. Finishing off with lymphatic massage and light therapy, your skin will be dramatically lifted, toned and radiant.
What results can I expect?
The focus of this treatment is Hyaluronic Acid, an exceptional hydrator, which, combined with it’s effective delivery system (Hyperbaric Oxygen to promote the delivery of advanced Intraceuticals boosters) the skin will feel revived, replenished and protected. This is a perfect facial before an event as it is not invasive and there is little to no downtime.
Will it work for my skin type?
This treatment works perfectly with every skin type, it is specifically good for sensitised skins as there is no harsh exfoliation aspect so the skin will not be aggravated at all.
We are also able to tailor each serum to specific skin types & concerns.
Pre-treatment advice
Wear comfortable clothes to your appointment and ideally arrive with no make up or jewellery on. As this is a gentle facial that does not involve resurfacing, you will be fine to continue using actives such as retinol or salicylic up till the day before your treatment.
What happens during the treatment?
The treatment will begin with a deep cleanse & exfoliation under steam, this will help open pores and prepare the skin for the infusion of serums. Next we carry out a lymph drainage facial massage using ice globes-this really refreshes and awakens the skin. Using the Intraceuticals Oxygen machine we blast hyaluronic serums into the skin. Finished off with a session of Light Therapy and aftercare products.
What does the treatment feel like?
The treatment has a very soothing, therapeutic effect. You will feel the light spray of the serum followed by the flow of oxygen. This combined with the ice globes & light therapy makes this one of the most relaxing medical facials we offer here at the clinic.
Aftercare
It is best to allow the skin to breathe (and for all the hyaluronic serums to sink in and work their magic!) so we advise 24 hours without make up. Stay hydrated post treatment and no actives such as retinol or salicylic to be applied for 48 hours.
