What results can I expect?
This gentle facial massage will activate the lymph drainage system and in turn will improve circulation, remove excess fluid and push the toxins and waste from the lymph nodes. There will be an improvement in puffiness along the jaw line and under the eyes, your skin will be radiant from the blend of essential oils and you will leave the clinic with a relaxed, calm aura.
Will it work for my skin type?
This facial is suitable for all skin types.
Pre-treatment advice
Wear loose, comfortable clothing to your appointment. We would also advise coming with no make up or jewellery on although this can always be removed before we start.
What happens during the treatment?
Starting with a steam, we open the pores and deeply cleanse the skin. Next we begin dry brushing over the face, which helps boost circulation and prepares for the massage. Using a blend of essential oils, your Aesthetician will use a mix of manual lymphatic drainage + use of a Jade Roller & Gua Sha. To finish you will have a session under our Dermalux LED.
What does the treatment feel like?
This treatment will leave you feeling deeply relaxed, restored and lifted.
Aftercare
It is very important to stay hydrated after a lymphatic massage facial, as your body will be in a state of high toxicity for a few days after the treatment. Make time to rest & relax after the treatment as this allows the blood pressure to return to normal (it can drop during treatment which is completely normal). Avoid alcohol for 24 hours and no saunas/steam rooms for a couple of hours post facial.
